SAN RAFAEL — Despite a late rebound, girls junior varsity volleyball lost its game Wednesday against Terra Linda in two sets.

The 25-11, 25-21 game ended on a high note. Five consecutive points by the Bulls nearly pushed the game to three sets. But errors earlier that game gave Terra Linda the ultimate advantage.

“We need to beef up our passing and serving,” coach Lynn Stein said.

As junior varsity looks forward to its next games in Marin, the team seeks to reduce errors. Foot faults during first-set serves added to Terra Linda’s lead. Stein said the team will work to boost its offense.

“For the last month we’ve been doing much better than we did today, so we’re going to really work on that the next week.”
