Girls junior varsity volleyball marked its second win at home this week, this time on Friday against Archie Williams.

The 25-14, 25-12 victory followed its defeat of Novato on Wednesday. Both sets whizzed by with a series of aces and an improved attack by Branson. Archie Williams, however, struggled to mount a coordinated offense.

“We’re figuring who plays best where,” coach Lynn Stein said. “And we’re just playing our game.”

The junior Bulls play only one game next week, this time against San Marin. Stein said she hopes the recent momentum will continue.

“The key next week is to just work on the basics and do lots of stretching.”
