Girls junior varsity volleyball made quick work of San Rafael at home Wednesday.

The team won each set by double digits in a 25-10, 25-12 game that showcased how the junior Bulls have created an effective offensive formula. But with an opponent that struggled to return balls, let alone mount an attack, several aces pushed the count on Branson’s scoreboard that much higher.

A win streak that started at home against Novato Sept. 21 will face a strong test by Redwood on Friday. That game will mark the end of the season for JV.

“A lot of their JV team is a bunch of players that are juniors,” coach Lynn Stein said. “We’re going to have to bring the same intensity that we brought to Marin Catholic. And just have good defense.”
