The Branson swim team, better known as the Bull Sharks, have started their season off strong with great competition and spirit in their meets.

“We have been doing a lot of aerobic-based training,” said swimmer Aly Valente ‘27.
Their team is also a lot larger this year. with “lots of new freshmen,” Valente said.
Not only do they compete well in their competitions, the swim team also aims to create a fun and inviting atmosphere and build strong team connections.
“I like how the team environment is super chill and everyone is encouraging each other,” Kwei said. “It’s a really good place to be.”
The captains of the team help set the tone.
“[We have] really good team energy,” Valente said. “It’s so much fun, our team captains are super amazing.”
“[Although] Branson is a lot smaller … no one gets discouraged by our [school] size,” said Kwei.
This upcoming MCAL season is looking promising for the Bull Sharks.
“I’m feeling very good about the upcoming season. Our team looks really strong,” Valente said.
